It’s never too late to become what you might have been." -George Elliot

I'm 24. Going to University at 24 to take a 6 year course means I will be in school until I'm 30 years old. It means moving from a large home in the country, to a small apartment in a stuffy city. It means leaping out of my comfort zone. It means never having a lot of money. It means getting up early, and staying up late. It means I drink too many caffeinated drinks, and never have time or energy to do my hair.

I'm 24. Going to University at 24 means that in a few short years, I will be able to start a career that will not only give me a great income, but also a great quality of life. It means when I'm done, I can move from a small apartment in a stuffy city to the home of my dreams. It means that I am smarter than I ever thought I could be. It means my time is spent wisely. It means I am strong. It means that, although it may have taken me longer than the average joe to figure my future out, I know why I'm there, and I'm not going to take that for granted.
